Chapter Zero in Adria: Making Climate Change a Boardroom Priority

Chapter Zero Slovenia is organising a panel discussion as part of the ESG Adria Summit 2025, which will take place from 9-11 April in Montenegro. The discussion will focus on the key challenges and opportunities of climate governance in the Adria region and the role that board members play in climate governance and the integration of ESG considerations into core business strategy.

The Adria region is considered a climate change hotspot in Europe, posing serious threats to key economic sectors such as tourism, agriculture and energy. Businesses face uncertainty about sustainability regulations and a lack of knowledge to move from climate commitments to concrete action. Chapter Zero Slovenia, part of the global Climate Governance Initiative, is committed to building awareness and knowledge among board members and is extending its mission to the Adria region.
